DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES
Shipping costs are determined by the destination and weight of the delivery. These charges are made visible to you when you proceed to the checkout and before you finalise the order transaction. Any special delivery, such as urgent delivery, air shipment, etc. will be covered by the customer..
UK DELIVERIES
Orders placed for delivery within the UK are ordinarily sent out within 1-2 business days with Royal Mail 2nd Class and are expected to arrive at their destination within 3-7 working days of dispatch. Please contact us if Royal Mail 1st Class or Tracked delivery required before placing an order.
The UK delivery fees are as follows:
- Up to 2kg - £3.55
- 2-10kg - £7.35
- 10-25kg - £9.45
EU DELIVERIES
Orders placed for delivery within the EU are ordinarily sent out within 1-2 business days and are expected to arrive at their destination within 7 working days of dispatch. The EU delivery fees are as follows:
- Up to 2.4kg - £17.76
- 2.5-4kg - £22.47
PRE-ORDER / RESERVE POLICY
In many instances, you may pre-order / reserve items on www.aldsecurity.co.uk. Such items will list an expected shipping time frame and a release date. If you pre-order an item, your credit card will be charged at the time the product is shipped. We will ship the item(s) to you on the actual availability date. Therefore, your total time for delivery would be:
Total Time for Delivery = Time Until Availability Date + Delivery Time Frame (based on the shipping method chosen during the checkout process)
Availability dates are supplied by the manufacturer or distributor of the product and are subject to change without notice. Once we learn about any changes to the availability date, we update the availability information on our site.
If you do not wish to wait for a delay, you may request a cancellation for your order, provided that the item has not entered the shipping process in our warehouse. If we do not hear from you before we ship the item, we will assume you have agreed to the shipment delay.
PRODUCT UNAVAILABILITY
In the event that an ordered product is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you to inform you of your options, ordinarily:
- A delay in the delivery
- A replacement product
- A refund of the unavailable product
- The cancellation and full refund of the order
NON-DELIVERY/ MIS-DELIVERY
If, after the stated delivery period, you have not received your delivery, you must email us within 3 calendar days, or ideally sooner, to raise an investigation. Courier companies restrict the time available to make claims for reimbursement, and so we may not be able to provide replacement products and refunds after this period.
If, after the courier has attempted a delivery, the service user fails to arrange a re-delivery or collection from a depot, we will treat this the same as customers returning goods as unwanted/ mind changed (see below), and will refund the full purchase costs less the delivery fee.
If non-delivery occurs due to customer error (e.g. the customer entered incorrect shipping details), we will provide a refund, minus the costs of delivery and a £5 return-to-sender fee.
